The SGAWCm - Global Advanced Wound Care Meeting, innovates again this year with SGAWCm 2025 - Experience, which will be held on the 28th, 29th and 30th of May 2025, at the Centro de Convenções Rebouças - São Paulo/SP.
Current and innovative, the event positions Brazil on the world stage of advanced wound care, with the participation of leading specialists from a total of 30 countries. Congress attendees will have access to discussions, updates and new technologies introduced in the last three years, as well as those coming in the next two years on all 5 continents.
This globalization can be seen mainly with the presence of Prof Harikrishna K. R. Nair, President Elect of WUWHS (World Union of Wound Healing Societies), who will act as our international president and Prof Dr Nivaldo Alonso, Associate Professor of the Department of Surgery of the Discipline of Plastic Surgery at FMUSP as our National President.
To facilitate access to content across all continents, the event will be hybrid, with in-person and online participation, with English and Portuguese as official languages, and will feature simultaneous translation.
The SGAWCm 2025 Experience will have the Hands-on Course. The course will be divided into training stations where participants will be able to come into contact with the latest techniques, equipment and products for wound care. Only congress registrants will be able to sign up for the course and places are limited.
In the congress part, showing our commitment to updating, we will have a module called “what's next”, where future launches of products and equipment developed for advanced wound treatment will be presented.
In addition to the in-person stands, we will maintain virtual stands so that participants from all countries can interact with the various participating multinational companies. The online spaces will be available up to 60 days after the event.
Obviously we will have a scientific work submission section where our congressmen will be able to present the work developed in their respective services.
We will also once again have the “Papo de wounds” program, this time live on our Instagram channel and the Jornal Papo de Feridas, a monthly report distributed by email to all subscribers.
The SGAWCm 2025 Experience was designed to provide participants with ample opportunities to interact with the speakers, answer their questions and exchange experiences in moments of celebration, thus promoting improvement through multidisciplinarity.
